Jenna is 15 months old and is walking, talking, dancing, and overall just a great little Toddler! I wrote down all the words that she says, and I was amazed: Mama, Dada, Mommy, Dog, Bird, Please, Thank You, Uh Oh, Ball, Bye Bye, Hi, Night night, Brice, (friend at school), Eat, Shoes, More, Mine - pretty sure that comes close to covering the list. Dr Sickler said that the number of words Jenna says and understands is well beyond 15 months. Ten or more words spoken is more like a 20 month year old. Way to go my Smart Jenna! :)

Of course, she has not come close to mastering using a fork or a spoon! Oops, that is my fault for sure! But she can take off her shoes (not her socks yet) and knows to raise her arms to take off her shirt and put on a new one. Maybe that redeems me.

Jenna is growing at the same rate as her last appointment and Dr Sickler says she is doing just great. One ear is draining from the gunky nose, but she is starting to get over that on her own. On a side note, it is remarkable how genetics work - Jordan was 29 inches and 18.2 lbs at her 15 month appointment. The girls could not be growing at a closer pace to each other.

Almost 15 Months Old

After getting over gunky nose and bronchitis about a week and half ago, Jenna woke up this morning once again with a gunky nose and trouble breathing. Awww great! I take her in on Oct 15th for her 15 month well visit, so if she does not get better before then.....yet another doctor visit!
