36 Week Appointment and 3 Weeks to go

This morning Jenna and I had our 36 week appointment with Dr Webster. Everything checked out. Blood pressure was 121 over 77 (high for me, but still just fine). I think Jenna grew a little bit from my last appointment. At this point, I am not dilated yet - which probably means absolutely nothing............ The sonogram looked good with an approximate weight of 5 pounds and 2 ounces - WOW!! I will go in again next Wednesday for a check up too. Should not be too much to update in the next week - just more growth, I imagine! Dr Webster stressed hydrate, hydrate, hydrate and for me to try to stay off my feet in the evenings and over the 4th of July weekend. I'm not sure that she knows me very well. I never stop moving! Boy, it is hot!

A full day........

Before the big third birthday party at the gym, we went up to the Plano Presby hospital for a Big Sister class and tour - Jordan wanted to have her photo taken before we left..........Of course, then she really didn't want to cooperate. :)

Third Birthday Celebration - Round 2

Today we had a birthday party for Jordan at the gym by our house. We had just under 20 of Jordan's classmates and friends outside of school as well, plus parents and a few siblings. Nana Noni and Papa Steve came to spend the weekend with us and to help out with the fun as well. What a lucky little girl to have a Lake Conroe birthday party with my family, and a friend birthday party too! I think she had a great time and enjoyed every minute of the fun and chaos. Enjoy a few photos.

35 Week Appointment and 4 weeks to go

This morning Jenna and I went to the 35 week appointment. Dr. W is on vacation this week so we saw her Partner in the practice. Blood pressure, heart beat and all vitals look great. Jenna has grown the past two weeks and is getting bigger, and bigger. I am certain that she is bigger than Jordan was at 35 weeks gestation, even if my weight gain does not support this statement! We (mostly me) are ready to get the show on the road and meet our little girl! Some days I am happy with staying on schedule and meeting her on July 21st scheduled date! Other days, I think that Jordan's 38 week delivery would be perfect for Jenna as well. :) Let's meet her a little earlier than planned. I will go back next week and see Dr W and have a sonogram to check on Jenna's exact growth and her amniotic fluid levels. This summer heat is really hard on pregnant mommies!!

Happy Father's Day

Jordan and I couldn't be happier that you are Daddy Mark - hope your golf weekend (and week days) were great and that you enjoyed spending time with your #1 daughter. We love you!

Nap Time?

Today I thought it would be fun to pull out Jordan's tent that she has not gotten to use yet...........for her rest/nap time. HA! What do you guess - did she fall asleep today?

33 Week Appointment and 6 weeks to go

Today was my 33 week appointment - all looks just fine. Jenna is measuing a little small, but I think well within a reasonable range. I will go back in two weeks for the 35 week appointment and then have another sonogram in three weeks at the 36 week appointment. YAY! Looking forward to continuing to count down the weeks left! It is getting HOT and I am getting ready to be done with pregnancy - for good! :) Doctor stressed liquids, liquids and more liquids. No surprise with as hot as it has been this first week of June!

Jenna's Special Name Letters

One of my dearest and oldest friends is sooooo creative! She made Jordan's name letters that we hung in her nursery and now are hanging in her big girl room. Once again, she has out done herself with Jenna's name letters - they are just awesome and perfect!! What a natural talent (that we all know I do not possess). Thank you, thank you - Jenna's room now feels complete. :)

Third Birthday Celebration - Part I

Princess Cake

All her presents........

For each of Jordan's birthdays we have planned a trip to Lake Conroe to celebrate with all of my side of the family. We didn't pass it up this year! We choose to celebrate a bit early with Jenna's July arrival only 6 weeks away. This year Pops rented a house on the lake which turned out to be so nice and convenient. Jordan had a very "special day". She rode on the boat several times, and even got out on the tube with Mark (yay!). Of course she was not a fan of 'crashing' when it was time to get off the tube. Her day included the most beautiful (and yummy) princess cake made by her Aunt Cristina, ice cream, and more presents than any three year old needs. Not to mention all the yummy meals that were cooked over the weekend, and some special time with my best friend's three children as well. We are so very blessed to have family and friends who dote on Jordan so much --- and helped us wish her a fabulous 3rd birthday!
