Christmas Program
Today is Jordan's Christmas program - pictures to come soon. This morning she was rather cute.
Mom: Today is the Christmas Program at school. I can't wait to see you sing.
Jordan: I'm on the stage by Devon and Elizabeth, but not on the top. I am on the bottom.
Mom: Why are you on the bottom?
Jordan: Because I'm the best singer.
So funny!
(And obviously she is on the bottom with Devon and Elizabeth because they are the shortest in the class)
Ear Infection and Strep Throat
Happy December to us! Jordan came down with Strep Throat and a 103 fever on my Birthday. And the following week, Jenna got her first ear infection! Both girls taking the pink amoxicillan (spelling?). YAY for December!
However, Jenna did weigh 13 lbs and 14 oz at the doctor's appointment (with her clothes on and right after eating). What a big girl! And Mark was excited to hear the doctor tell him that she can "cry it out" at night. How mean!!

Santa Visit
We had a very busy and "Christmas" filled weekend. Tree up and lights up and our Santa Visit - check, check and check! There are several pics of Jordan, but not so many of Jenna. Couple reasons: She was fussy and ready for nap AND of course, she had a huge blowout right before she met Santa for the first time so out of the cute Christmas dress - just our luck. OH well. Enjoy the pictures. Oh, and Jordan actually sat in Santa's lap this year and told him what she wanted for Christmas --- lipstick, chapstick, a camera and a hula hoop! Special Thank You to Leslie for loaning us Jordan's precious dress!!

Happy Four Months Jenna!!
Jenna had her 4 month visit today (11/14). She did great. A little fluid on her left ear due to her cold over the last few days. UGH! But no infection.....have to watch her for a fever over the next week. Jenna weighed 12 lbs even and measured 23 1/4 inches long. 15% percentile for both. Perfect baby, huh? She is doing so good at school and at home. Really is an easy baby. She is starting to sleep 8+ hours at night between feedings, but still likes to snuggle her Mom during the night (sometimes). :) OH well, she'll outgrow that before I know it. Jenna is starting to really watch and listen to voices and people. She loves to watch Jordan and we have seen her follow Mark across the room on several occasions. Her latest 'stubborn' act is that she now refuses to take a bottle from Me - no problems with Dad or at school, but she throws a fit when I try to give her a bottle. Guess I just won't be doing that any more! Smart cookie, huh? :)

New House one day...
Mark and I have mentioned to Jordan on a few occasions that one day we might have a bigger house with a bigger yard so she can have a swing set with a swing. She has mentioned it to us a few times recently - asking us if we were going to go to our new house. This weekend she did not hesitate to tell us that she would like a big backyard and Daddy can get her a swing set AND a swimming pool. What?!?! Mark told her that we probably can't have both. And her response, "Yes we can. Mommy can get the swimming pool and Daddy can get the swing set. A good deal, huh?" Ah ha. A done deal, right? OH boy! :)
