Let it Snow

Another Incident Report

Today's incident report was the best one yet. Jordan yet again was trying to be an acrobat and climbed somewhere she wasn't supposed to and had a big fall. She ended up with a huge bruise on her forehead, shaped like the bumpy floor she fell on. She also tried climbing across the snack table to a "better" chair. She is non-stop and a definite climber!

Merry Christmas

Cousin Lexa and Jordan
Santa was so good to me!

Santa was good to me! :)

Don't wanna picture!

I'll just frown

Looking angelic to me

Santa was good to Jordan this year --- as was all of her family. Jordan received a baby doll, a cradle and a diaper bag for her baby, plenty of books, and legos, as well as new shoes, new pajamas, a new sweat suit, a new outfit, a new jacket vest, a puzzle stool with her name, a tea set, some pretend picnic food, and the list goes on! Oh, and her first potty! Look out world!Jordan enjoyed her time with the family and really learned some new words this week - the Grandparents love that she can now say Nana, Papa, Gigi, and Pops as well as Audra and a favorite, "trash". She entertained all of us. We are looking forward to 2010!

Memories of 2008 Christmas

Christmas Morning
Christmas Eve

Gotta get my picture with Santa!!

Since I didn't start blogging until Jordan turned 1 yr old, some of you have not seen pictures from her first Chrismas.

Christmas - Round 1

Today, Jordan and I spent the day in Aledo, TX with family. My Aunt (Cousin) Kelly from Washington state was visiting TX for my "cousin" Lexa's graduation from A&M on Saturday. While Kelly was visiting TX, we celebrated Jordan's Christmas with her! ;) Kelly leaves on Tuesday so make it home to spend Christmas with her family. Thus, Christmas - Round 1. What a lucky little girl! Jordan received several fun toys, and books, and her first 2009 Christmas pajamas. :) Jordan enjoyed her day with the family, and took a good nap in the car on our way home. Merry Christmas - Round 1 :)

Happy Birthday Jesus Day at PofP

Today was the Holiday Program at Prince of Peace - so cute. Fun to watch all the 1,2,3,4 and 5 yr old kiddos trying to stand still on the stage. Of course, Jordan's class was only on stage for probably 2 minutes, but I couldn't miss her first debut! The kiddos all had matching shirts that I thought were precious. See pics. The 1 yr old class also had Happy Birthday Jesus snacks today - and this was a pleasure to watch and be part of. The kids are growing so fast.

Jordan and her new buddy, Finn, eating snack.

Don't you wish you looked this cute in your jeans? :)

17 Months

Happy 17 Months to Miss Jordan. This month marks a few changes for Jordan. First, we have both big girl car seats installed in our cars and we believe she has hit 20 pounds, so one car seat is actually facing forward! She does enjoy this. Also, Jordan has learned the word "NO", and sometimes includes her pointer finger while saying "no, no, no". Jordan is also saying the words Birdie and Baby, as well as Apple, Banana, Peas, Dog, Cheese, Up, Down, Please, Thank You, and her favorite Birdie Ball. She has really increased her words and mimics many other words on a daily basis. Jordan has also discovered how to climb on the coffee table, and stand on several of her toys. She is not very cautious when it comes to climbing and tumbling. A Monkey! Her favorite activity at school is sliding down the slide and she shows me this trick each day that I pick her up from school. This month we saw Nana Noni and Gigi /Pops. Aunt Lisa came to babysit one Friday while Gigi was in town to babysit Jordan so we could attend at Christmas party. Miss Nora New and family came to visit us a few times this month, as well as the Faries family. Miss Irelyn and Jordan joined the grown ups for Mexican food one night and were both sweet girls the whole evening. Jordan also had her first cookie at Costco - yes, she loved it - all of it. Jordan's favorite foods are still more or less the same - yogurt, waffles, peas, carrots, cheese, goldfish, all fruit, fruit snacks, and a new delight - kolaches. We are so thankful that Jordan is a great sleeper. Bedtime is between 7:30 and 8:00 pm and she wakes up at 7:00 am most mornings. Sometimes on the weekend she will sleep until 8:00am! :) Jordan has started showing an interest in picking out her shoes and clothes each day and she has started using silverware to eat her dinner. Sure is hard to put all those peas on a spoon! Enjoy the Holiday Season! Before long Santa will be coming to visit a sweet little angel.
