Happy 17 Months to Miss Jordan. This month marks a few changes for Jordan. First, we have both big girl car seats installed in our cars and we believe she has hit 20 pounds, so one car seat is actually facing forward! She does enjoy this. Also, Jordan has learned the word "NO", and sometimes includes her pointer finger while saying "no, no, no". Jordan is also saying the words Birdie and Baby, as well as Apple, Banana, Peas, Dog, Cheese, Up, Down, Please, Thank You, and her favorite Birdie Ball. She has really increased her words and mimics many other words on a daily basis. Jordan has also discovered how to climb on the coffee table, and stand on several of her toys. She is not very cautious when it comes to climbing and tumbling. A Monkey! Her favorite activity at school is sliding down the slide and she shows me this trick each day that I pick her up from school. This month we saw Nana Noni and Gigi /Pops. Aunt Lisa came to babysit one Friday while Gigi was in town to babysit Jordan so we could attend at Christmas party. Miss Nora New and family came to visit us a few times this month, as well as the Faries family. Miss Irelyn and Jordan joined the grown ups for Mexican food one night and were both sweet girls the whole evening. Jordan also had her first cookie at Costco - yes, she loved it - all of it. Jordan's favorite foods are still more or less the same - yogurt, waffles, peas, carrots, cheese, goldfish, all fruit, fruit snacks, and a new delight - kolaches. We are so thankful that Jordan is a great sleeper. Bedtime is between 7:30 and 8:00 pm and she wakes up at 7:00 am most mornings. Sometimes on the weekend she will sleep until 8:00am! :) Jordan has started showing an interest in picking out her shoes and clothes each day and she has started using silverware to eat her dinner. Sure is hard to put all those peas on a spoon! Enjoy the Holiday Season! Before long Santa will be coming to visit a sweet little angel.
