May we always remember Jordan's first love - Daddy! Her very first dance. I bet she does not make it until the last song....one tired girl.

Happy 6 Months

Jenna turned six months yesterday! Time sure has gone by fast. I took her to see her doctor this morning and she was

24 inches long - 15%

Head circumference was 10%

And 14 lbs - 20%

Growing GREAT.

However, she does have another ear infection in the same ear as in December, and the other ear still has fluid. We are starting a strong antibiotic tonight.

Jenna is squealing, smiling, and laughing and starting to use her hands more and more. She is still not interested in rolling over much or sitting - guess she is going to do all this when she is good and ready! She has finally tried rice cereal and carrots. I don't think this baby is going to have any trouble eating from a spoon - she seemed to like both just fine! YAY!

We'll go back in a month for another ear check to make sure the infection did clear up from the strong dose of antibiotics. Keep your fingers crossed.

Bathtime

This bathtub is finally used as only a tub. For the first 5 months of Jenna's life the tub served as her bed more than for bathing. :)

Christmas Program

Today is Jordan's Christmas program - pictures to come soon. This morning she was rather cute.

Mom: Today is the Christmas Program at school. I can't wait to see you sing.

Jordan: I'm on the stage by Devon and Elizabeth, but not on the top. I am on the bottom.

Mom: Why are you on the bottom?

Jordan: Because I'm the best singer.

So funny!

(And obviously she is on the bottom with Devon and Elizabeth because they are the shortest in the class)

Ear Infection and Strep Throat

Happy December to us! Jordan came down with Strep Throat and a 103 fever on my Birthday. And the following week, Jenna got her first ear infection! Both girls taking the pink amoxicillan (spelling?). YAY for December!

However, Jenna did weigh 13 lbs and 14 oz at the doctor's appointment (with her clothes on and right after eating). What a big girl! And Mark was excited to hear the doctor tell him that she can "cry it out" at night. How mean!!
