20 Months

March 8th - 20 Months. Where did the time go? Our little "foot stomper" has joined the Terrible Twos a little early. This last week we experienced true temper tantrums. The on the floor, crying kind of trantrums - and over "Fruit Snacks". Similar to gummy bears, but maybe a little bit healthier. She wanted some, and Mama said "no". Well, then the tears started, and the arching of the back, and well, you know how it goes. Then the stomach bug came, and since then - no more tantrums over fruit snacks. Whew! Boy, this is going to get interesting. Other than that change, Jordan was promoted to the big kid side of the Toddler Class at Prince of Peace this week - or is spending part of her day on the Big Kid side. I think this coming week she will be over there full time. She will have new full-time teachers, but her old teachers are still there too. Nice change, but nothing huge. More new vocabulary words for Jordan. Her favorite things to do: read books, throw balls, play airplane with Dad, put on lotion, and take on and off her shoes and socks. Favorite new words: Nora, Shoes, Socks, Elmo, Bye-Bye, Hello, Yellow, Trash, Snack, Outside, and Thirsty to name a few. Still waiting on full sentences though....I think they'll be here any day! I would guess that Jordan is now a little over 31 inches tall, and before the tummy bug 21 pounds, but she may not quite be 21 post-tummy bug. She has not gotten her appetite back quite yet. We love her - Terrible Two's Temper Tantrums and All.
