Tricks and Updates
Just so I don't forget when some exciting things occurred: 1) Jordan can ride her tricycle all on her own - and FAST! She loves to go fast and have us chase her and then she turns into the grass and says "BOOM" while lifting her legs in the air. This gives her the giggles. 2) Jordan can finally count 1 to 10 consistently every time. We had a tough time getting 4, 5, and 6 in there. She preferred to skip from number 3 to number 7 every time she counted. But we are golden now! :) And of course, now they are working on counting the teens too. Eleventeen is a favorite! HA! 3) Jordan recognizes the letter 'J' and 'W' and "her" letters for Jordan Wheelis. She knows her name and can tell us to spell it with a 'J' and an 'O', but we don't have the rest of the letters known quite yet. 4) Jordan is a JUMPER! She has really gotten good at jumping, hopping, skipping, running, and her throwing and catching has gotten so much better the past three weeks too! She can throw hard and fast! 5) Jordan can sing several songs all on her own now - her favorites are Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, Wheels on the Bus, and the past two days she has been singing Jesue Loves Me over and over (stalling at bed time). 6) Lastly, Jordan has gotten to be some what of a regular in Thinkin' Time at school. At least in my eyes. As a child who rarely got in trouble, spanked, or spent time in thinkin' time this has been a little new for me. Jordan has gone to thinkin' time 3 times at school in the past month. Mostly she has gone because she wasn't listening to her teachers (and perhaps told them No), and yesterday she and her buddy Emily were going for the same toy, and I understand that Jordan may have grabbed Emily and given her a scratch! Yikes! So, we are having lots of talks about listening, obeying, and playing nice with friends; otherwise, Mommy and Daddy are sad. I may have to prepare myself for a little girl FULL of personality and ENERGY!
