Dadda's HelperWe have decided that it is time for our big girl to give up the Paci at nap time and bed time. When she turned about 13 months we removed the Paci from her all day routine, and limited it to only nap and bed time. She has done great with this, especially the past 6 months. Rarely does she ask us for the Paci and it stays in her bed. A great routine. Since Jordan will move to the Two Year Old class in August, we decided that it would be best to cut the Paci completely while she is still with the teachers as PofP that she knows and loves. This will not be an easy change for Jordan. We know it and the teachers know it too. The plan is to go cold turkey. Paci Bye-Bye. Trash. Big Girls do not need a Paci. All Gone. Mark and I have talked it up this week and I believe that Jordan knows it is coming. Wish us luck and hope for an easy transition. You think I need to get her teachers some extra special treats for helping us with this transition next week? Definitely. Friday Night Bye-Bye Paci Party!!
